I am just so proud of Owen. You'll have to excuse my "boasting" a little. He wrote this letter to his friend, Aaron. What I really loved, was how much fun he had doing it. We didn't do it in a day...it's too big a project for that. First, Owen dictated what he wanted to say to me, and I wrote it down. Then he copied it on his special guided paper. The only thing I wrote was the mailing address. He did the return address. What a super job!

Ruff Readers #3 Reading to "Chance," the Standard Schnauzer, at the library.
Talking to Grandpa Wager
Here is Owen, talking to Grandpa Wager, as he is walking around the table. He is talking about the movie he saw recently, "Bedknobbs and Broomsticks." If you listen well, you can hear him kiss Grandpa goodby. Grandpa and Miss Betty are coming over this Thursday, just to visit.
Grand Rapids Museum
Charlie took Owen and I to the Grand Rapids Museum this past Sunday afternoon. It was a fun day. We knew there was an event going on now about "BIG BUGS," and knew Owen would love that. The funniest thing was when he wanted to buy a sucker with a real cricket inside it. He insisted, but upon later "stewing" over that...he decided he wouldn't eat it for real.
