Finally! Time To Go Sledding!

We finally had the right kind of snow, and the right temps, to go sledding! Daddy took Owen to the corner park, where there are a few hills. Owen spent about 15 minutes just getting dressed. LOL.

Owen got the movie, Wall-E, from Santa this year. So, he had some friends over to watch it with him. They had hotdogs for lunch, and popcorn for a snack.

Mommy Lighthouse Playdate

On New Years Eve, at a friend's house, eating pizza, playing the piano, wearing bunny ears! Owen had lots of fun!

Visitors!

My sister, Julie, and her son, Nicholas, came to visit between Christmas and New Years. Nick loved the big balls! Julie brought this delicious butter iced cake. It was delicious!

Extended family can be really fun. But, there's just something "Beautiful" about taking things down a notch to your own little family. Comforting, simple, wonderful. Thank you Owen, for being such an amazing little boy, and for being mine. I LOVE you. Mommy.

Christmas in Midland...

What fun we had in Midland! We had a terrific Christmas meal of Lamb, Cranberry Relish, Green Beans, Sweet Potatoe Casserole, and Sparkling Grape Juice. YUMMO! Plus, snacks like chips and sour cream, and gingerbread and butter cookies. I've never been soooh stuffed in my life. LOL. Mostly, though, the time with family there was soooh pleasant, fun, and relaxed. Some things we did: Play in the snow, put a puzzle together, playdough, K-zooing, eating, snacking, taking pictures, and watch a movie. All in ONE day! LOL.
Here is Uncle Phillip being silly with his girls, Katie, and Eliza. He got them these cool hats for Christmas, which they had tons of fun wearing.
