Happy 7th Birthday, Owen!
Owen turned 7 on July 27th! We took three of his friends to see the movie, "Car 2." Then we came back and had ice cream and cake! FUN!
CSI: Creative Science Investigators
Owen had great fun at CSI this year. He and two of his buddies went each day, and learned about Bees, Water, and Mammals.
Montague
It was fun going to the open house for Montague's new Childhood Center, now called the Mac Center. This is a building that Charlie worked on at URS, so he was invited to their ceremonies. Owen enjoyed riding the school bus to the heated parking garage for the busses, also designed by URS.
Cutlerville Days
Cutlerville Days are great fun! On June 11th, we watched the Cutlerville Parade, and then went to the little fair they have at the Cutlerville Park. This year, I volunteered my 10' pavilion, and my services to the Gaines Township Library for their booth. They had a place to sign children up for the Summer Reading program, and had some games with prizes. Then, next to them they set up my pavilion for "Ruff Readers." That is a group of dogs that children read to. It was fun to watch the kids and the dogs. Owen also got to go on several of the rides, and get some food too. He especially loved the snow cones.

Spring with Tulips
For Mother's Day yesterday, I got a puzzle, a few cards, and a trip to the Tulip Festival, which included an Art Fair. I got quite claustrophobic, and we had to leave, but it was still fun to get out. Many of these flowers are from our own back and front yards.
