1st Wager Family Reunion

WHAT A BLAST! This was a WONDERFUL first Wager Family Reunion! 42 people came to the Beerbower's new house, to celebrate! I thought the huge play areas, with lots of shade, and lots of food, and lots of fun were abundant all day! Praise the Lord for working toilets, food to eat, shelter, and family/friends to LOVE! I am not in these photos since I took them. lol But, I tried to get everyone at least once. I just cannot wait until the next time we do this. A Big Thumbs UP! Thanks to everyone who came, and to the Beerbowers for offering a wonderful site.

10th Year Anniversary Trip

Charlie and I had so much fun at the Springbrook Inn, near Houghten Lake! We were celebrating our 10th year wedding anniversary. We watched movies, canoed, putt-putted, checked out "Arnies," a craft store, used the hot tub on many occasions, got breakfast brought to our rooms, and had a few special meals right at the Inn. Some interesting things that happend to us: One night the hot tub jets were so bubbly, that they spurt over Charlie's shoulder without him knowing. By the time we caught it, about 2 gallons of water had gone overboard, flooding the carpet a bit, and leaking downstairs into the dining area. WHOOOPS! But, no one was sitting there, thank heavens. Charlie also absentmindedly left his keys in the ignition overnight, and our battery was dead the next morning. Had to have the owners use our jumper cables on it. But, all in all, it was really fun, and a very relaxed time. Thanks for Auntie Lisa and Uncle Bruce for taking Owen in for these few nights.

Feed the Kitty

Grandma Carol came over the other day, just to hang out with us. She and Owen had tons of fun playing, "Feed the Kitty." Owen purchased this game at Barnes and Nobels with some Birthday money. THANK YOU family and friends!!! :)

And this is his first finished art project from a kit from his friend, Mara. You use special paints to outline and fill in the design, tracing it on a plastic cover over a pattern. Then dry overnight, and peel off the plastic cover. It sticks magically on the window or a mirror. How fun is that?

The 4th of July Parade!

We had a great time at the parade in Grandville, MI. Libby Sholl invited us to come to their house since the parade was on the corner. They line up at least two families deep there. And the parade lasted about a hour and 15 minutes! :O Owen had lots of fun collecting candy and his bucked was almost full by the end of it.
After the parade, we went to the mall to watch "Ice Age III, The Dinosaurs." Then home again to rest until the fireworks back at the Sholls. The whole experience was TONS better than Kentwood's celebrations. And Owen had Danny and Micah to play with while waiting for things....riding his bike, playing in their backyard, catching fireflies in the evening. He was exausted when we got home. lol. We might have to make this our yearly get together. :)
