A Wonderful Visit!

This past weekend, we had the Zieglers up for a visit. Typically, we carve pumpkins together. But, we also had cheese and chocolate fondue, and played the "Settlers of Catan" by the fire in our family room, the Thomas version of "Go Fish." Also, the girls split from the guys, and we checked out "Horrocks" together. We were there about 2 hours. The boys went out to feed the ducks and check out the buildings that Charlie has participated in planning/building, etc. What a fun time!

We go to story time every Wednesday at 10am. Today, there was a special time about firemen. We even got to see some real firemen, and their firetruck.

Lakeshore Museum Center in Muskegon

This past Saturday, Owen and I, went on our October field trip to the Lakeshore Museum Center in Muskegon, MI. http://www.muskegonmuseum.org/index.html It was really a lot of fun. They have excellent things to see, a little gift shop, a place to eat your packed lunch, and lots of interesting information about the history there. Owen's favorite thing was in the interactive room, biking your hardest to activate a lightbulb.
Hanging out with some friends before the tour began.

Two murals in the entryway stairwell.
