S & S Farms (Pumpkin Patch)
We went to S & S Farms today. Owen isn't running a temp, so he really needed to get out of the house. We stayed there over two hours. We did the hayride, and they stopped 4 times on the trip to get things from the fields to show the kids. The last stop was free raspberry picking for a few minutes. Yum. We went back and picked two pounds of them. One thing kind of scary for Owen was when he went into the blow up farm. He was actually having a ton of fun, and did it three times, before the power went off in the whole area, and it collapsed with him inside. YIKES! He was okay, though. Owen also loved scooping the feed corn in the cornbox. It was hard to get him out of it. We had to lure him with the idea of doughnuts and cider. YUM. In case you're wondering, we DID each get a pumpkin. Little ones that also will double for cooking pies. YUM AGAIN!

It looks like your boy is feeling better! That farm looks awesome! I wonder if we have something like that around here.
Actually, Owen is not better. Well, he doesn't seem to have a temp. But, he has other issues with his throat, and croupy stuff. Not pretty, I can tell you. I'll probably have to take him in to see Dr. Kruggel tomorrow. Meanwhile, I'm putting some Vicks vapor rub on his feet when he goes to bed. Helps him not to caugh all night. Really works.

We have a place a lot like that here. It's actually the orchard where we go to pick apples every fall. They also have a corn maze, hayride, etc...We're going next weekend, hopefully. I'm glad he felt well enough to go, but sorry he's still coughing. :(
