Kalamazoo Air Zoo

This past Friday, Owen and I went on our September Field Trip to the Kalamazoo Air Zoo, with around 5 other families. This is a pretty cool place, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to know more about airplanes and spacecraft, throughout history. Owen especially loved the Hot Air balloon, and airplane ride. And we also got to go inside one of the planes they used to drop parachuting soldiers from. It was cute to see all the kids jump out saying, "Geronimo!" I, however, got very dizzy in the plane, even though it was not moving at all. My favorite plane was the 831 Blackbird. It is the only one. It flies 3x the speed of light or sound (I can't remember which), and can't be caught by missle or shot down in any way. That's because it's so fast, and it goes so high.
Here is Owen patiently sitting with Gabe, Sophia, and Michaela Meyer, the family we carpooled with.

Owen and Heather. Heather was by herself today, so she liked Owen tagging along with her when I was dizzy.

The Hot Air Balloon ride that Owen did.

Part of the largest Mural done about Air flight progress in History.

Owen, standing with our first tour guide, Mr. Ralph. Owen had the best time conversing with Ralph. He kept saying, "Wooooowh. That sure is a big airplane," or "Wooooowh. That is sure amazing!" lol There was a lot of information over our heads, but he sill appreciated hearing about it.

Here Owen is with our second tour guide, Mr. Mike. Don't you know it's harder to stay interested when you've already been through an hour tour??? lol

On our way up to the parachuting airplane.

Lined up to sit inside and push all the buttons.
