We've got crickets in our basement. They serinade me all the time! Our landlord came this afternoon to let us know that the neighbors are being kept up at night from them. Of course, theirs are in the upstairs livingroom! ARRRRRGGGHHH!!!
He put some poison pellets out around the house, and found that our basement window, (which is taped shut,)was not really shut! He doesn't think that's how the crickets are coming in, but he fixed it anyway, and is going to get some traps maybe for our basement. Just got to keep Owen out from the rocks that he usually plays in around the house. I DON'T need a sick child.

A touch of our life. As you know we live in "boonsville" and we love it! At this time of year with the windows open at night we have an orchestra of crickets, frogs, toads, and owls, ect. Melodic at times.
